WORLD OF DVF
DVF was founded in 1972 by Diane von Furstenberg, who set out to empower women through style.
The DVF brand gives every woman the tools to be the woman she wants to be, with clothes that are fresh, modern, functional, and practical. We always put the woman before fashion.
The Wrap Dress
In 1974, Diane von Furstenberg created the wrap dress, which launched a new liberating style movement for women worldwide. By 1976, she had sold over a million dresses and the wrap dress became an icon.
Today, DVF continues to honor the wrap in new prints, fabrics, lengths and silhouettes, while preserving the ease and freedom that made the original revolutionary.
Fabrics
Fabrics at Diane von Furstenberg are chosen for how they move and feel. Signature jerseys and fluid silks sit at the heart of each collection offering comfort, elegance, and ease of wear.
Luxurious yet practical, our materials emphasize drape and packability, designed to look polished straight out of a suitcase while supporting a modern, on-the-go lifestyle.
Color & Print
Color and Print are the unmistakable signatures of Diane von Furstenberg. Bold, expressive, and playful, each print tells a story, drawing from art, nature, travel, and femininity. The brand’s rich archive is a continual source of inspiration, with prints thoughtfully reimagined for today, reinforcing a timeless visual language that feels classic and modern.
Attitude
At its core, Diane von Furstenberg is about attitude. Confident, independent, and unapologetically bold, the brand empowers women to own who they are. It is fashion with purpose, designed to support her strength, spirit, and sense of self.
Our customer carries herself with confidence. Guided by her own instincts and personal intention, she dresses for herself, embracing independence and self-assurance in every choice.
Silhouette
Diane von Furstenberg silhouettes are defined by femininity and function. The dress leads the assortment, designed as a complete solution that delivers instant confidence. Shapes are clean and unfussy, slipping on effortlessly with minimal hardware.
