View the DVF 2018 Met Gala Gowns

You’re invited to come and view the six custom DVF gowns worn to the 2018 Met Gala. The special gowns will be on display as part of a special traveling installation in three of our select locations.

For his first Met Gala upon return to the house, DVF’s Nathan Jenden created six custom gowns for Diane von Furstenberg, her granddaughters, Talita von Furstenberg and Antonia Steinberg, and inspirational young women in different fields including Taylor Hill, Jourdan Dunn and Maya Hawke. Each dress was handcrafted at the DVF Atelier in downtown New York with materials and master craftsman brought from all of the world to create wrap dresses as never seen before.

On May 7 2018, the world’s eyes were fixed on the red carpet outside the Metropolitan Museum in New York. Crowds gathered outside the Met’s Fifth Avenue location to watch the glamorous arrivals for the Costume Institute Gala, this year themed “Heavenly Bodies: Fashion and the Catholic Imagination”. Now, we invite you to see them up close in a personal setting, to tell us which gown best represents you, and to learn more about them from our on-site expert stylists.

Let's Get Digital

Runs from 3/8 - 3/11

To highlight DVF’s commitment to innovation, we’ve partnered with Microsoft and Om in order to create unique digital installations that bring a new dimension to the on-site fashion experience:

Enjoy front row seats at our Spring 18 New York Fashion Week catwalk show (collection currently in-store) through Windows Mixed Reality headsets, or be transported to El Salvador to see and experience how the artisans employed by Sequence, a for-profit organization that we partnered with for our Spring 18 collection, create their unique products.

Tell DVF what it means for you to be in charge by filming your own customizable clip in our #INCHARGE video booth.

Referencing Diane’s iconic “cube photo,” step into our special photo booth to create yours, with your own words.

Come join us to experience, create, and share on social media—and if we love your work, we may feature it online!
