Better late than never, amirite? Finally temperatures in the Frozen Apple constitute something approaching springtime, so we should all mark the occasion by shedding our somber winter layers and running into the streets with as little obstructing our limbs as possible to embark on a multi-month dialogue with the sunshine.
Lace is a wonderfully transitional and celebratory fabric, and cut into a loose, casual shape these long sleeve tops (in a nautical stripe, or green to match the crocuses rearing their little heads) are spring staples for me. Paired with a nautical striped short or our new and deliciously high-waisted kick-flare denim you’ll be the best dressed girl in your neighborhood as everyone else figures out how to adjust their dark winter wardrobe to the newly vibrant surroundings.
Speaking of vibrant, cameras may be the new accessory, but if you can’t take a photo to save your life (like yours truly) just fake it by carrying this very convincing camera clutch. No one will ever know the difference. Add a selfie-stick to complete the ruse.
Sunglasses are a must, even indoors. It means you can more or less roll out of bed, save at least 3 minutes you would otherwise spend covering up last night’s sins and still look cooler than everyone you’re with. Aviators also add a dash of mystery. Maybe you’re really a fighter pilot and haven’t told anyone.
If you’re in the mood to bare those legs (which should be the universal mandate as soon as temperatures rise above 32) this whimsical cotton floral dress is your best friend. Throw a leather jacket over it to punk it up, or a cashmere cardigan to sweeten it up; no matter what mood you’re in, you can always wear it with our new spring sandal. With a low heel so perfectly young, modern and practical you may have to get it in every color. Good news: our store is stocked. Happy spring!
