About Last Night:
Celebrating Spring 17

Editors, friends and fashion week fixtures joined Diane last night as she fêted new Chief Creative Officer Jonathan Saunders and his first collection for DVF, a modern reimagining of print and color that debuted over the weekend in a series of intimate appointments at a bright white space on Little West 12th Street.

Karlie Kloss, Jessica Hart, Leandra Medine, Miroslova Duma, Hamish Bowles, and Allison Williams—who looked ravishing in a pale blue sundress from the Spring 17 collection—exchanged the requisite air kisses in the newly revamped Beatrice Inn.

As the crowd sipped champagne and house Negronis, Jonathan, Diane and CEO Paolo Riva celebrated the momentous weekend; one that marks a clear and promising direction for the future of DVF.

“It’s not just a collection, it’s a concept,” said Diane von Furstenberg, who has officially passed the creative reins to her worthy successor, “and I couldn’t be happier.”

Your Weekly Horoscope:
Week of September 11

A moment of truth for Scorpio; a date with destiny for Aquarius. Read on for more of what this week has in store, according to Diane’s astrologer Shelley von Strunckel.

Aries
March 20 – April 18
Having met masses of fascinating people and explored intriguing ideas, you’re brimming with enthusiasm. Yet you’re now eager to turn those ideas into plans, and those plans into action. Do so if you must, but with your ruler Mars moving to accent your long range objectives later this month, on the 27th, whatever you organise should be considered more of an experiment than a lasting arrangement.

Taurus
April 19 – May 19
You’re facing changes in a range of situations, some minor and others very important indeed. In most, you’re annoyed by either the lack of options or the fact you’ve no say at all about these. Unfair as this seems, the decisions being made on your behalf are taking you into new territory, mostly into arenas and activities you’d otherwise reject, and without a moment’s discussion.

Gemini
May 20 – June 19
By no means are you secretive about your feelings, whether it’s your deep affection for family and loved ones or your passion for certain projects, or even your work. But once you’ve voiced those feelings, you regard saying more as unnecessary, if not embarrassing. Don’t. Several individuals are unaware of those emotions. Tell them. It will make a huge difference, now and in the future.

Cancer
June 20 – July 21
Sometimes the Full Moon brings actual circumstances to a head, which leads to crucial decisions, and those, to changes. Powerful as the eclipsed Full Moon, on Friday the 16th, may be, it’s about the need to reconsider your perspective and priorities. Begin now, noting where you’re inflexible, even if you’ve sound reasons and, equally, if it’s what you’re obsessed about doing. A rethink would be timely.

Leo
July 22 – August 21
Ordinarily, when confronted by obstacles, you’re fearless. Yet now you’re puzzlingly unsure what to do. That’s good, because the issues you’re facing are far more complex than you realise. Only after serious discussions with others, and delving into the questions these raise, often in depth, will you be well informed enough to take action. Fortunately, things aren’t nearly as urgent as they seem.

Virgo
August 22 – September 21
Adopting an easygoing attitude when faced with errors, obstacles or others’ bad behaviour may not come naturally to you. But as you’ve probably already discovered, things aren’t always what they seem. While this is partly due to your ruler Mercury being retrograde, and actually in Virgo, changes triggered by September’s two eclipses, the latter of which is on the 16th, are shaking things up as well.

Libra
September 22 – October 21
Although there’s no denying the positive influence of mighty Jupiter’s move into Libra, you won’t necessarily experience its renowned good fortune right away. But then, it’s in your sign for a little over a year. Knowing that, be prepared to do a little decluttering, as much of your goals and objective as of your possessions. The lighter you’re travelling, the more swiftly you’ll spot golden opportunities.

Scorpio
October 22 – November 20
Having struggled with a range of underhand situations recently, your concerns are justified but, still, you’re seeing plots where they don’t exist. The solution? Ask others what’s behind their words and actions. And be frank. While, initially, you may doubt whether they’re being honest, you’ll not only learn how to trust others, your conversations will venture into amazingly rewarding areas, personal, social and the wider world.

Sagittarius
November 21 – December 20
Nobody enjoys a challenge more than a Sagittarius. Yet even you could be overwhelmed by the changes triggered by your ruler Jupiter’s move into a new position, on the 9th, and the unfamiliar people and situations you’re already encountering. Although patience isn’t your strength, you’ll soon understand these better. Besides, this cycle lasts over a year, so you’ve plenty of time to ask questions and explore.

Capricorn
December 21 – January 19
If you’ve already realised that much of September, with its two eclipses and the confusion triggered by Mercury being retrograde until the 22nd, will be a write-off in terms of achievement, you’ll be able to relax. Better yet, you’ll find you’re increasingly intrigued by the people you meet and places you go, and in ways that aren’t usually possible because you’re so busy doing what you do.

Aquarius
January 20 – February 18
Letting familiar elements of your life go when you’re unsure what’s next takes courage. Yet it seems destiny has already decided to declutter how you live, work, your pursuits, passions and even your ambitions. However, you’ve probably already had hints of what’s next, and judging by the stunning link between Mars and your ruler Uranus, on the 17th, it’ll be well worth a bit of chaos.

Pisces
February 19 – March 19
Although it’s not until Friday the 16th, you’re probably already well aware of both the dramatic changes and intense feelings triggered by the Pisces eclipsed Full Moon. This is partly because it links to the eclipse on the 1st. But, equally, your instincts have long told you it was time for a rebirth, personally, in terms of your work and lifestyle. That time has come.

Your Weekly Horoscope:
Week of August 28

A new chapter for Gemini, twists and turns for Virgo. Read on to see what the stars have in store this week, from Diane’s astrologer Shelley von Strunckel.

Aries
March 20 – April 18
Once you understand you’re in a cycle that’s about discovery, instead of battling changes, you’ll recognize them as an invitation to explore, and do so. With eclipses on September 1st and 16th shaking up elements of your life, work or daily routine, you’re urged to be flexible about both existing arrangements and new ventures. Explore everything. What’s least expected could work out brilliantly in the long run.

Taurus
April 19 – May 19
You know the activities and people you enjoy and, just as much, what you don’t. So when the events triggered by Thursday’s eclipsed New Moon force you into unfamiliar territory, you are not happy. Despite that, don’t say no. This is kick-starting a cycle of growth and exploration that will shake things up a bit, but in wonderful and, often, long overdue ways.

Gemini
May 20 – June 19
The confusion introduced by your ruler Mercury’s retrograde cycle, which begins Tuesday and lasts until 22 September, is nothing new. Now, however, that disarray highlights crucial questions about your domestic or working life and, especially, the need to do things differently, if not make serious changes. So when certain of those arrangements come undone, as is likely, recognize that as the beginning of a new chapter.

Cancer
June 20 – July 21
As a Cancerian, you’ve an instinctive understanding of the lunar cycle. Thus, you welcome the stillness of Thursday’s New Moon. Yet it’s the first of two eclipses, the second’s on September 16th. Both are about breakthroughs, some welcome, others less so. Urgent as decisions about these and other matters seem, this period is as much about rethinking your perspective and priorities as the changes, ultimately, you’ll make.

Leo
July 22 – August 21
While there’s no way around complications involving everything from practical or financial matters to issues with loved ones, the clarity you gain will prove valuable. These and other perplexing questions are preparing you for the thrilling, if unexpected, developments that arise next week. Every fact you must gather and informative conversation you have now will provide information that will be crucial to decisions you’re making then.

Virgo
August 22 – September 21
You’re superb at organising your own life and others’, but occasionally over-plan. However with your ruler Mercury retrograde in your sign, from Tuesday, and the Virgo eclipsed New Moon, on Thursday, shaking things up, life’s about the unexpected. While you can’t predict the nature or extent of developments, at least you can ensure whatever you organize is flexible enough to ride out those twists and turns.

Libra
September 22 – October 21
If it seems destiny is determined to declutter your life, that’s true. While you’re undoubtedly relieved to see certain situations, alliances or obligations go, saying farewell to others is far more difficult. Yet in every case these are decluttering your mind, and your life, and making way for the powerful cycle of growth and good fortune triggered by mighty Jupiter’s move into Libra on 9 September.

Scorpio
October 22 – November 20
Over recent weeks often you’ve been forced to either go along with others’ questionable decisions or abandon your plans in favour of those made by certain individuals. While, at the time, you were fuming or struggling to escape, you now recognize how beneficial these were. Better yet, they’ve prepared you for the easier, if not actually thrilling, but as unexpected, changes unfolding between now and mid-September.

Sagittarius
November 21 – December 20
It would be no surprise if you’re still wrestling with the seemingly unfair demands or, possibly, unwelcome changes triggered by potent aspects involving Mars and tough Saturn, in Sagittarius. However, you’re already recognising their potential and, over the coming weeks, will actually be thankful they took place. For now, focus on learning about these and the people they’re introducing into your life. You’ll be fascinated.

Capricorn
December 21 – January 19
Capricorn may be the most decisive sign of the zodiac. But it’s only now that circumstances are preventing you making plans or taking action, that you recognize the importance of being in control. Still, with Mars in the most strategic portion of your chart until the end of September, your life’s about reflection. Dull? No way. You’re preparing for the dynamic cycle that October is all about.

Aquarius
January 20 – February 18
Annoying as certain bizarre and often perplexing situations may be, they’re introducing you to fascinating people or the kind of ideas you really enjoying exploring. If there’s any problem, it’s that others won’t always share your enthusiasm. It makes no difference if it’s family, close friends or colleagues, take a break from them, too. In every way these changes, even if temporary, will hugely enliven your life.

Pisces
February 19 – March 19
As an intuitive Piscean, you already sense change is coming. And between Thursday’s eclipsed New Moon, and the lunar eclipse, on 16 September, both of which raise questions about elements of your life you’ve struggled to keep as they are, you could be anxious. However, your intuition rightly tells you these aren’t just inevitable, they’re exactly what’s needed. Undertake them, and you’ll learn why.

Your Weekly Horoscope:
Week of August 21

Thrilling changes are on the horizon for Taurus and Scorpios should trust their intuition. Read on for more of what the week has in store, from Diane’s astrologer Shelley von Strunckel.

Aries
March 20 – April 18
Because you’re inquisitive, you’ll happily explore intriguing ideas or offers, even if they’re impractical. From your perspective, at minimum, it will be interesting, enough that what you experience could add to your life. However, what you do and who you meet this week won’t just be intriguing, they could be life-changing. Clearly, you’ll delve into these further. How far you’ll go remains to be seen.

Taurus
April 19 – May 19
Watching certain familiar if not crucial elements of your life come undone may seem worrying, at least initially. By midweek, however, you realize what’s going is clearing the way for developments that have been in the air for ages but which you’d assumed would take forever to happen. Now, not only is the pace speeding up, these thrilling changes could be settled before the month’s close.

Gemini
May 20 – June 19
However straightforward plans seem, and clear as you are in your own mind about the order in which they’ll be done, ensure arrangements are flexible. Why? On the 30th, your ruler Mercury goes retrograde, triggering the usual unexpected changes. While some will be welcome and others less so, the better equipped you are to ride out unexpected developments, the more smoothly the coming weeks’ events will go.

Cancer
June 20 – July 21
Recent events have given you good reason to be hyper-sensitive to both anything worrying and those who’re in a tricky mood. Take note of what arises, however, since it’s unlikely those that make you gasp will turn into problems. This is mostly because the pace is swift and, better yet, each day’s developments are an improvement on those before, enough that by the week’s close, everybody’s smiling.

Leo
July 22 – August 21
Life’s been exciting but now the focus shifts to practical matters in general, and to finances in particular. While they’re a bit dull you’ve known you should do your sums, in terms of money but, as much, considering the of time, effort and, possibly, heart, you’d have to invest in certain plans. The simple act of gathering the facts will do wonders to clarify your thinking.

Virgo
August 22 – September 21
Planning ahead may be a virtue but with your ruler Mercury going retrograde, in Virgo, on 30 August, even simple arrangements will change, probably often. For now, focus on tidying up anything unruly, whether of a business, practical or personal nature. That way, when the inevitable twists and turns arise, you can deal swiftly with those that are uncomplicated and explore those that are more complex.

Libra
September 22 – October 21
Over the past several weeks you’ve focused on calming potentially tricky situations, in the hope that somehow events would deal with the rest. Now that it’s clear they won’t, and you’ll need to step in, probably soon, and seek workable solutions. The secret is to get others involved. They’re unaware of worrying problems. Tell them all about these, and in detail. They’ll be amazingly helpful.

Scorpio
October 22 – November 20
No matter how much you weigh up the combination of circumstances you’re facing and the peculiarities of the people involved in already tricky situations, the way ahead will be unclear. However, your intuition is both sharp and trustworthy. While you can’t tell everybody you’ve based crucial decisions on those feelings, things will work out so well others will want to know how. Simply smile and say nothing.

Sagittarius
November 21 – December 20
When certain longstanding and, in some cases, crucial arrangements come undone, you’re anxious. However, you’re kept busy rethinking plans, sometimes every day. While, as a Sagittarius and a fire sign, you rather enjoy this swift pace, others worry. Reassure the individuals in question but make no promises. Instead, encourage those who’re anxious to get involved. This keeps them well informed without relying on you.

Capricorn
December 21 – January 19
As a Capricorn, you won’t be thrilled about others high-jacking decisions that are yours to make. Yet the fact is, they’re better informed than you are and, as important, can be trusted. That being the case, leave these matters up to the individuals in question and, meanwhile, focus on more personal, and more complex dilemmas currently coming to the surface. These need a personal touch.

Aquarius
January 20 – February 18
Unsettling as recent events were, they were also no surprise. For ages you’ve been conscious certain arrangements, some longstanding, would need to change. However much of a relief what’s happened thus far seems, you’re anxious things will go too far. That won’t last for long. In fact, you’ll soon exchange those concerns for an eagerness to take what’s currently being rethought considerably further.

Pisces
February 19 – March 19
For ages you’ve known elements of your domestic or working life couldn’t remain as they are. Despite that, how and in what way things would change has been unclear. Until this week. Wednesday’s encounter between courageous Mars and practical Saturn get things moving, and so swiftly that, despite your doubts about plans, neither you nor others are able to slow the pace or extent of events.

Both those behind the Empowerment Plan and DVF share a similar belief in the importance of giving women the opportunity to gain control over their lives. As Scott has said, “Diane emanates all that we stand for and continues to prove that despite the struggles one may face, we are all able to accomplish greatness. By matching the first $50,000 raised through this campaign, she is giving back to women looking to change the direction of their own lives by conquering their own fears. Your Weekly Horoscope:
Week of August 7

Libras need patience and Virgos should go with the flow. Read on for what the stars have in store for you this week, courtesy of Diane’s astrologer, Shelley von Strunckel.

Aries

March 20 – April 18

While you’ll usually do all you can to avoid getting bogged down with tedious details, there’s no escaping the fact certain matters need attention. Some will require some time and a bit of thought. But others are more complex and, ultimately, more interesting than you realise. By midweek, in fact, you’ll be learning so much from these, you’ll put other tasks off until later.

Taurus

April 19 – May 19

Often close relationships are a dance, one in which life’s practicalities are balanced with its pleasures. This is currently the case in several situations and with several individuals. The trick is to anticipate a change in the place while you can still steer the course of events. While other signs couldn’t handle the complexity involved, you’ll do wonderfully and, equally, find you rather enjoy the challenge.

Gemini

May 20 – June 19

For ages you’ve known you’d have to deal with tricky matters involving family or the structure of your life. While you’ve done little, mostly because both circumstances and your priorities were unclear, suddenly things come together. However, a combination of exciting encounters and your own new ideas means what you’ve decided and are doing is very different, but far more exciting, than anything you’ve previously conceived of.

Cancer

June 20 – July 21

Nobody enjoys watching crucial practical or financial arrangements coming undone. Yet for weeks your instincts have been saying there’s something amiss or that unexpected developments could change everything. Judging by the planetary activity between now and the Full Moon, on the 18th, you’ll be dealing with a bit of each. Explore absolutely everything. What seems least promising now could prove most worthwhile in the long run.

Leo

July 22 – August 21

Although you’re undoubtedly still mulling over some of the insights ushered in by the recent Leo New Moon, you’ve probably already put others into action. While this is wise, you’ll need to rethink plans as you go. While ordinarily you’d battle sudden changes, once you accept they’re inevitable, you’ll be flexible, enough you’ll merrily explore each and every idea and opportunity that comes your way.

Virgo

August 22 – September 21

The key to dealing with this complex but ultimately worthwhile week is to recognise that it’s all about teamwork. While flexibility is easy when matters involve joint interests, others being involved in decisions you regard as strictly personal is tricky. Still, for now, go with the flow. The guidance and support that comes your way will be valuable now and in the future.

Libra

September 22 – October 21

Usually you sense when to remain silent versus times when you should speak up. The problem is you’re short of facts, but won’t always be aware what’s missing, which means trusting your instincts. The real challenge is others are unsure of their own priorities, so are in no position to discuss plans. Be patient with them. Meanwhile, busy yourself with certain personal matters you’ve been neglecting.

Scorpio

October 22 – November 20

Don’t make the mistake of thinking that, in giving up ground in certain matters, you’re losing the respect of others. On the contrary, the more you leave up to those who’re interested but also better equipped than you to deal with these, the more time you’ll have for those you’re passionate about. Also, talk this over. The resulting discussions could transform even tense relationships.

Sagittarius

November 21 – December 20

Feeling jet-fuelled? It’s no surprise, because Mars’ move into Sagittarius on 2 August kick-started a period of both review and action. While this boosts your energy, before making changes you’re urged to assess what, and who, you’ll be dealing with. This slows your pace now. But it also means you’ll have both the facts you need and vital clarity of mind when life-changing decisions arise, later this month.

Capricorn

December 21 – January 19

Watching existing arrangements or plans you’ve worked hard to organise come undone is no fun. Yet you rightly sense these are a trial run for something new you’ll be undertaking later in August, when dynamic Mars stages a rare encounter with your ruler Saturn. Prepare for this by joyously relinquishing those outdated ideas and exploring others that both embody your dreams and truly inspire you.

Aquarius

January 20 – February 18

Tensions about your own plans and, equally, issues regarding certain close alliances aren’t new. Yet until recently there’s been no urgency to deal with these. Now, however, you’re in the run up to the pivotal Aquarius Full Moon, on 18 August, and sense the nature of coming changes. Tempting as it is to try to second-guess these, you’d only confuse matters. Live life one day at a time.

Pisces

February 19 – March 19

Over the coming weeks, you’ll finally be able to deal with certain complex matters once and for all. The turning point is the Pisces Full Moon, on 16 September. That knowledge takes the pressure off you to make swift decisions. Even more, it means that you can explore certain ideas and even alliances, confident you’ve plenty of time to delve into them in depth.

Week of July 10

A charm offensive for Cancer and a Full Moon in Capricorn—it’s that time again. Read on for astrologer Shelley von Strunckel’s take on what this week holds for you!

ARIES

March 20 – April 18

Just when you thought persistent problems couldn’t be overcome, sudden ideas or changes in circumstances clear the way for plans to proceed. While they’re not as you intended, things have moved on since then. That being the case, you’ll want to review existing arrangements and even unchanging priorities. This proves surprisingly informative and, better yet, discussions lead to exciting new ideas involving others, too.

TAURUS

April 19 – May 19

The past weeks’ events have been as exciting as they’ve been unsettling. Now that you’re discussing plans, present and future, you’ll also need to rethink certain longstanding arrangements. Unsettling as this seems, with your ruler Venus, Mercury and, on the 22nd, the Sun all moving to accent a new approach, the more options your explore now, the happier you’ll be with the outcome.

GEMINI

May 20 – June 19

After an exciting, but chaotic, couple of weeks the pace slows, enough you’re able to consider where things stand now and future plans. You soon discover these need to be rethought. However, with so much still in transition, your focus should be discussion, not firm arrangements for what’s next. Besides, once you begin, you’ll realize you must rethink your priorities, personally and in close alliances.

CANCER

June 20 – July 21

With the Sun, charming Venus and Mercury all in Cancer, you’re at your most persuasive. Yet you’re still unsure about certain changes and questioning future goals. Clear-cut decisions aren’t necessary. What’s most important is that you discuss both existing plans and where things should go next. While often others’ ideas will differ from yours, the resulting conversations will clarify your thinking and, ultimately, your plans.

LEO

July 22 – August 21

Recent discussions were complex and, on occasion, triggered confrontations. While these tensions won’t vanish, at least you can now talk things over without those conversations turning into dramas. Bear in mind, however, that nothing’s settled. Rather, with the actual circumstances in question changing, often suddenly, there’s little point in trying to organize plans. If you must, regard what you arrange as tentative.

VIRGO

August 22 – September 21

While you might have a right to blame recent dramas on others’ poor planning, nobody could have anticipated recent twists and turns in events. So although your feelings of wariness are justified, you’ll want to focus on teamwork. This means encouraging others to make suggestions and ensures you maintain crucial alliances, personal and professional. Better yet, everybody will benefit from the resulting analysis and exchange of ideas.

LIBRA

September 22 – October 21

Looking back on the past week, you faced complex situations. In some, even simple plans didn’t last long but, despite that, you had to deal with others’ differences. Happily, things are calmer, so you can relax a bit. Still, certain individuals are determined to have things their way. This isn’t your problem. Back off. If you’re not careful, you’ll end up playing the role of peacemaker.

SCORPIO

October 22 – November 20

Having struggled to achieve an accord in already tense arrangements, when they start coming undone you won’t be pleased. Yet with so much in transition, around you and in your own life, such changes are inevitable. Regard what’s arranged as one of a series of plans, and when you need to rethink things, you’ll regard it as yet another step towards achieving something lasting.

SAGITTARIUS

November 21 – December 20

When the remarkable events triggered by late June’s powerful link between your ruler Jupiter and Pluto took place, you set about turning them into lasting plans. However, things weren’t as simple as they seemed, and you’re still wrestling with unexpected developments and a few uncooperative individuals. Tempting as it is to deal with these swiftly, aim to do it once, and in depth, and those arrangements will endure.

CAPRICORN

December 21 – January 19

Certain of the situations you’re dealing with may be complex, but for you as a thorough Capricorn, they’re no problem. However, while other arrangements are far simpler, issues are strangely upsetting. These involve emotional matters and are being triggered by the Full Moon in your sign. Although this isn’t until the 19th, the time has come to face and, where possible, discuss these matters in depth.

AQUARIUS

January 20 – February 18

As obstructive as certain individuals and the obstacles you’re facing seem, each is slowing your pace and, in the process, preventing you from making arrangements you’d later regret. Deep down you sense the truth of this. It’s just you’re determined to see certain plans through. While that’s admirable, both circumstances and your life have changed. The vision you had for the future must change, too.

PISCES

February 19 – March 19

Eliminating your idealistic Piscean nature isn’t possible. Instead, for now, you’re urged to adopt an uncharacteristically cynical perspective. That way, during this complex period, you won’t be shocked when certain individuals are uncooperative or, worse, actually cause problems. You’ve long known they were like this. Accepting it enables you to take the upper hand when contending with their antics, as you soon will have to.

Your Weekly Horoscope:
Week of July 4

A New Moon for Cancer and broader horizons for Virgo, the week of Independence Day brings excitement on many fronts. Read on for astrologer Shelley von Strunckel’s take on what this week holds for you!

Aries March 20 – April 18

Unnecessary complications may be annoying. This week, however, it soon becomes clear these details are crucial. On one hand, they’re essential to exploring intriguing but vague ideas or offers. Some involve your domestic life, others activities out in the world. In every case, making the best of these requires serious investigation. Do so, and you’ll soon recognise why they’re a worthwhile investment of your time.

Taurus April 19 – May 19

There’s no avoiding complex practical issues and differences with others. But once you understand that each offers valuable insights of some variety, you’ll focus on what you can learn. Some are straightforward. However, as many are so complex they require patience, effort and, often, negotiation. The time you invest will prove informative, both about circumstances and, equally, about the otherwise puzzling attitude of certain individuals.

Gemini May 20 – June 19

Dealing with those who lack imagination is always challenging. What’s more, delve into current obstacles in depth and you’ll soon realise how few options there are. Consequently, when tackling business or finances, you’re better off simply doing whatever is required. Misunderstandings are another matter. Invest time in exploring ideas with others and what you learn, about them and your options, will revolutionise your thinking.

Cancer June 20 – July 21

Although there’s no sidestepping certain obstacles, they could prove unexpectedly informative. Link these with Monday’s Cancer New Moon, which constitutes a sort of personal new year for you, complete with a fresh perspective, on the present and the future, and you’ll soon be rethinking your priorities. This makes it easier to say farewell to unworkable arrangements and focus on those that are new, and more exciting.

Leo July 22 – August 21

After an exciting and fast paced couple of weeks, suddenly circumstances involve difficult individuals and precise detail. While initially shocking, you’ll soon realise how much you’re learning from these demanding situations. Knowing that, resist the temptation to do the minimum and investigate what, and who, is involved in depth. This won’t just be informative, it could lead to substantial changes in your thinking and priorities.

Virgo August 22 – September 21

As a Virgo, once you have the facts, you can deal with almost anything. However, between frequent and unexpected revelations and sudden changes in circumstances even the simplest of plans won’t last. Disastrous as that seems initially, it means you can explore intriguing ideas without committing. Take advantage of this opportunity to broaden your horizons. What you learn and who you encounter could be life-changing.

Libra September 22 – October 21

Exciting as recent ideas, offers and events have been, turning them into lasting plans is another matter. While, obviously, you’d prefer to talk these over, pressure from events or the demands of certain individuals leave little time for even brief discussions. Knowing that, ensure what you organise is flexible enough that, as circumstances change, so can arrangements. This buys you time to consider your options.

Scorpio October 22 – November 20

When you know who and what you’re dealing with, being decisive is easy. However, you’re at the end of a complex, if exciting, period. While you can’t go for much longer without making plans, things are too unsettled to commit. So don’t. Instead, do something out of character and make tentative arrangements. This gives everybody time to explore what’s exciting and consider what should go.

Sagittarius November 21 – December 20

Since late May circumstances have forced you to be patient. Then, suddenly, everything happened at once. Exciting as this has been, you’re left making decisions about plans, some sudden, and either in a rush or while short of details. You can’t avoid organising things, but you can ensure arrangements are flexible. While this will suit you, others will be thankful as well.

Capricorn December 21 – January 19

Between the recent rare alliance between fortunate Jupiter and Pluto, which is in Capricorn, and this week’s potent planetary activity, life’s exciting. While you’re eager to make plans, facts are in short supply. What’s more, things are moving so swiftly you’re hesitant about committing. The solution? Do something out of character and make halfway arrangements. This approach gives you welcome room to manoeuvre.

Aquarius January 20 – February 18

Few things annoy you more than those who simply refuse to consider changes or, equally, pointless rules and regulations. Yet that’s what you’re facing. Urgent as things seem, you need only make loose plans. The trick is to put off arrangements where possible and if you must organise things, ensure they’re flexible. That may seem a compromise but you’ll soon realise how wise it was.

Pisces February 19 – March 19

Don’t make the mistake of assuming that others are aware of either existing arrangements or your thoughts for the future. While you may have discussed them, times have changed and so have your priorities. Although the resulting debates will slow progress in the short term, what you learn as a result won’t just be informative, it will lead to a breath-takingly exciting vision for the future.

Your Weekly Horoscope:
Week of June 26

It’s that time again. Breakthroughs for Taurus. Magical outcomes for Virgo. See what the week has in store for you, courtesy of Diane’s astrologer Shelley von Strunckel.

ARIES
March 20 – April 18
True, the setbacks you’ve been experiencing since your ruler Mars went retrograde, in mid-April, have been irritating. This cycle ends on Wednesday, and as it does, you’ll benefit from having dealt with a range of issues, many from the past. Not only are you finally free of these, what you’ve learnt will shape plans you’re making for both the near and distant future.

TAURUS
April 19 – May 19
While this week of stunning planetary activity promises exciting ideas, offers and encounters, they won’t always fit in with existing plans or even what seems in your best interests. These are about breakthroughs, in both circumstances and, as much, in your thinking. Unwise as saying yes to it all seems, do exactly that. Obviously, you won’t pursue everything, but you will learn from it all.

GEMINI
May 20 – June 19
Usually, when others are complaining about unexpected developments, you’re excitedly exploring what’s arisen. It’s the same now. While you won’t necessarily plan on pursuing these, you’re confident you’ll learn something. Actually, what arises this week is so powerful you’ll be drawn into potentially life-changing developments. They may seem overwhelming at first, but you’ll soon realize they’re custom-designed to take your life to the next stage.

CANCER
June 20 – July 21
Sometimes opportunities are clear cut but, judging by both the swift pace and unexpected twists events take, you’ll have to rely on your instincts more than hard facts. Powerful as those feelings are, as a Cancerian you dislike taking chances, so could worry. There’s no need. Rather, by the New Moon in your sign, on July 4, you’ll be viewing life, and your future, with optimism.

LEO
July 22 – August 21
As an impatient fire sign, you long ago realized unexpected events or offers are best dealt with by simply plunging in. That will undoubtedly be your response to the current amazing developments. In fact, your biggest problem will be certain individuals you’re close to, personally or professionally, who’re less eager or are demanding solid facts. Don’t argue. Proceed, knowing soon events themselves will reassure them.

VIRGO
August 22 – September 21
In August of last year, the fortunate Jupiter moved into Virgo, triggering a year-long cycle of growth, discovery and opportunity. While you’ve benefited from some events, others have seemed disruptive, but nothing more. Suddenly these take a leap, although possibly in an unanticipated direction. Ordinarily you’d go into analytical overdrive. Instead, wait and watch. Things will come together in an unexpected yet magical manner.

LIBRA
September 22 – October 21
It’s no secret certain longstanding arrangements aren’t what they once were. Yet you hope they’ll bounce back. Not only is that unlikely, developments between now and July 10 make it clear you’ve far better options. Knowing that, at least explore what’s coming your way. While you may be able to incorporate the old with the new, you’ll soon seriously consider saying farewell to the past.

SCORPIO
October 22 – November 20
The rare capacity for spotting what’s new and exciting and, equally, what must go has given you a reputation for an almost psychic foreknowledge. Yet, bizarrely, you won’t necessarily see the promise in certain ideas or offers, some new, others dating back months. Knowing that, at least explore everything. Soon you’ll realize how thrilling these are. After that, the rest will be easy.

SAGITTARIUS
November 21 – December 20
The events triggered by the current link between your ruler Jupiter and Pluto, planet of transformation, will be as exciting as they are powerful. Still, you could have little control. If so, do something out of character and let go. Challenging as this is at the time, once you learn more, you’ll be hugely relieved you allowed things to unfold when, and as, they must.

CAPRICORN
December 21 – January 19
There’s no denying what’s coming your way is exciting. Still, you’re anxious, mostly because others are making the decisions. Letting go in this way isn’t easy for you, but what’s taking place now justifies relaxing your usual firm grip on the reins. Soon you’re worrying less, exploring more and saying yes to options that, only recently, you’d have rejected, and without any discussion.

AQUARIUS
January 20 – February 18
For months there’s been talk of changes in your everyday or professional world that would, in turn, mean rethinking elements of your life. Appealing as the idea of changes of exactly that nature are to you, these are too sudden or go too far. Still, since you haven’t much choice, get involved. This proves unexpectedly informative. And, as you’ll soon discover, knowledge is power.

PISCES
February 19 – March 19
When you see others wrestling with changes, you worry. Yet you’re also clear those events they’re struggling with are in their best interests, as they’d discover if they stopping battling the new and embraced it. Knowing that, you need only encourage the individuals in question. And next? Focus on the glorious ways you’re already benefitting from events. Your time has come. You need only say yes.
